Job Postings
Q:
Are there openings with KeyPoint that are not listed on the website?
A:
No. All positions that are open to external candidates are listed on our careers page. The postings change regularly so check back frequently.
Q:
What if there are no positions listed in my area?
A:
If you do not see a position posted in your area, then we do not currently have any openings in that area. Our job openings are updated on a daily basis, so please continue to regularly check for an opening in your area. You may also create a general profile which will store your information in our database so we may search for you and contact you if an opening does occur in your area in the future.
Referring a Friend
Q:
I am a current employee or independent contractor for KeyPoint. How do I refer someone to work for KeyPoint?
A:
We love receiving your referrals! Please have your referrals visit our careers page to view current openings and to apply online. Be sure to have them include your name in the “referred by” box.
Investigator Roles
Q:
Can I attend a KeyPoint investigator training class if I am not working with KeyPoint as an employee or independent contractor?
A:
No. KeyPoint can only provide training to individuals who will perform investigations for one of our contracts.
Clearance and Credentials
Q:
Do I need to have a clearance before I apply?
A:
No, but candidates who have an active clearance may be preferred for a particular position. If a candidate without a current clearance is selected for a position, KeyPoint will initiate the clearance process.
Q:
I see that credentials are required for some positions. How do I obtain credentials?
A:
Credentials are awarded by government agencies to individuals who require them. KeyPoint will facilitate the issuance of credentials for candidates who are offered investigator roles with our company, but if a posting states that it requires credentials, that means that we are seeking experienced candidates who already hold credentials.
Next Steps After Applying
Q:
I completed the online application. How do I know if you received my resume?
A:
When your application has been successfully completed and submitted, you will receive an automated email from KeyPoint confirming that your application has been received.
Q:
I received a confirmation email for my online application. What happens next?
A:
Check your email. Our recruiters will contact you via email if you are selected for the next step in the application process. You will also receive an email if you are not selected for a position for which you’ve applied.
Q:
How long does it normally take to hear from a KeyPoint representative after I have submitted my application?
A:
The length of time for a response varies based on the number of job openings we have and the number of candidates who apply for the position. If you have not received an email from us after the automated receipt of resume email, then your application is still under review.
Q:
How long are KeyPoint’s positions open for applications?
A:
KeyPoint generally does not have a specific time frame to fill our job postings. Unless stated otherwise, all positions are open until filled.
Q:
Should I also mail my resume to the Recruiting department?
A:
KeyPoint only accepts applications and resumes received online.
Current KeyPoint Employees and Independent Contractors
Q:
I am currently an independent contractor with KeyPoint. How can I start working on another KeyPoint project?
A:
Please view our job postings to determine if we have an opening in your area. You will need to submit your application online to be considered for an opening on another project. Be sure to specify in your resume and application that you are already working as an independent contractor with KeyPoint.
