KeyPoint names Austin based leader for Security Services Group
KeyPoint Government Solutions, Inc., a leading provider of background investigations and investigative, monitoring and fraud prevention services, today announced Brian Dusza is joining the company as managing director of the Security Services Group, which handles security inspections and audits. He will be based in Austin, Texas.
The Security Services group provides a wide range of services to federal, state and local governments including risk assessments, independent third party compliance audits, operational training, technical security countermeasures, design of electronic security systems and physical security measures.

John D. Lenoir and Sebastian Lorigo have joined the Washington, D.C. office as managing directors of KeyPoint’s Investigative Services Group. KeyPoint has extensive experience investigating and reducing fraud and abuse for the U.S. Government, state and local agencies and commercial companies. KeyPoint is a pre-eminent provider of security clearance investigations to the federal government, KeyPoint provides such services to various components of the Department of Homeland Security and the U.S. Office of Personnel Management.

John D. Lenoir, Esq., PhD has wide experience conducting complex litigation and directing criminal investigations. He is a career prosecutor who has worked in three of the largest and most active prosecutor’s offices in the United States—the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office, and US Attorney Offices in Texas and New York. He left government service in 2007 to become Managing Director at Kroll Government Services where he responsible for business development, contract management and special consultation projects. KeyPoint Appoints Michael Chertoff to Serve on Board of Directors
LOVELAND, Colo., September 17, 2009- KeyPoint Government Solutions, Inc., a leading provider of security-clearance background investigations and investigative, monitoring and fraud prevention services to U.S. government agencies, today announced the appointment of Secretary Michael Chertoff to its Board of Directors.

Mr. Chertoff served as the second Secretary of Homeland Security from 2005 to early 2009. Before heading up the Department of Homeland Security, Mr. Chertoff served as a federal judge on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. Earlier, during more than a decade as a federal prosecutor, he investigated and prosecuted cases of political corruption, organized crime, corporate fraud and terrorism -- including the investigation of the 9/11 terrorist attacks.
After leaving government service Mr. Chertoff co-founded The Chertoff Group, a risk management and security consulting company where he serves as the Managing Partner. Mr. Chertoff also serves as Senior of Counsel at the Washington, D.C. law firm of Covington & Burling.
Mr. Chertoff is a magna cum laude graduate of Harvard College (1975) and Harvard Law School (1978). From 1979-1980 he served as a clerk to Supreme Court Justice William Brennan.

KeyPoint Appoints Martin Horn to Head Correctional Services Group
LOVELAND, Colo., September 9, 2009 – KeyPoint Government Solutions, Inc., (formerly Kroll Government Services, Inc.) a leading provider of security-clearance background investigations and investigative, monitoring and fraud prevention services to U.S. government agencies, today announced the hiring of Martin Horn to head the company’s Correctional Services Group. Mr. Horn retired on July 31st as Commissioner of Corrections and Probation for the City of New York.

KeyPoint’s Correctional Services Group will provide consulting services to federal, state and local corrections agencies. These services will include independent third-party audits and consulting on all aspects of correctional operations including: performance management, risk management, litigation support, internal affairs, labor relations, training, and court-mandated compliance monitoring.

Horn joined New York City government as Commissioner of Probation in January of 2002 at the start of Mayor Michael Bloomberg’s first term. In 2003, Horn was asked by the Mayor to serve as Correction Commissioner as well, and became the longest-tenured City Correction Commissioner appointed in the past 50 years. Horn started his career as a parole officer and worked his way up to Secretary of the Pennsylvania state prison system before coming to New York City.
With respect to his work in the New York City, he is widely credited with making the City’s jails the safest large city jails in the nation and drastically reducing crime within the jail system. He is recognized nationally as one of the strongest advocates of prison reform, and a champion for humane conditions and respectful treatment of inmates. During his tenure he worked tirelessly to create an innovative jail-based reentry program, which has been hailed as a national model being replicated throughout the country. As Probation Commissioner, Horn drastically reduced violent recidivism in the in the City through aggressive management and the use of information systems allowing probation officers to work more efficiently and effectively.
In addition to his work at KeyPoint, Mr. Horn is a Distinguished Lecturer at John Jay College, City University of New York, imparting his wisdom and expertise to our future criminal justice system professionals.
Horn earned a bachelor's degree in government from Franklin and Marshall College in Lancaster, Pennsylvania in 1969, and a master's degree in criminal justice from John Jay College, in 1974. Horn co-chairs the American Bar Association Corrections Committee, has served as a member of the Board of Governors of the American Correctional Association and is the 2005 recipient of the Michael Francke award from the Association of State Correctional Administrators.
