Los Angeles Police Department

LAPD Monitorship Reports
On June 15, 2001 the City of Los Angeles and the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) entered into a Consent Decree with the Department of Justice. The Consent Decree provides specific guidelines designed to institute new policies and procedures to reform conduct of the LAPD. KeyPoint Government Solutions, then Kroll Government Services, was hired to act as the Independent Monitor and to ensure that Consent Decree reforms were implemented in an effective and timely manner.
